Non Credit Course Offerings
Many Colorado Mountain College students take non-credit courses. Non-credit courses are offered in subject areas or at academic levels not appropriate for credit work at the community college level. These courses are self-supporting so fees must cover all costs of instruction. These courses are designated as non-credit in the course schedule.
Prior to summer 2003, non-credit courses did not appear on the student's academic record. Currently, a special non-credit transcript is available. Some non-credit programs provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for completion. Please inquire upon registration if you are seeking CEUs.
Non-credit students pay fees as listed in the class schedule descriptions. No grades are issued. No academic credit is earned. Non-credit courses are not published in the Master Course listing, but some are published in the campus class schedules and on the web at: www.coloradomtn.edu/classes/.
